Every year, 25 nurses from DSON, equipped to manage responsibilities in health care system and community outreach environment, yet always bearing in mind that quality nursing is administered in the spirit of caring.

WHY DSON?
Dayanand Hospital provides healthcare facilities to the Tribals in Talasari, Palghar District since 43 years therefore the sisters felt the urgent need to cater to the professional aspirations of the tribal girls since they were unable to go to the cities to achieve their studies unlike other girls. Otherwise majority of them were involuntarily working in the factories to earn for their families.

* The institute offers an educational programme that keeps abreast of the latest developments and state-of-the-art nursing practices. Our teaching methodology is constantly updated.

* On completion of the academic programme, every student-nurse receives a placement at different hospitals in Mumbai or Vasai. This ensures employment for our nurses .
